about

This is a song I wrote a bunch of years back. Its pretty much a story about some friends of mine doing wrong and feeling OK about it. Lyrically it was a simple concept of here is a story now write about it. As far as the guitar parts were concerned, I wanted to play something that was very simple and moving to lay an almost speaking tone over . The effect is made even more haunting with Sylvana's backup vocal over the the chorus.

lyrics

Oh and I love it too
so why don't we blast holes through
our skin leave some scar tissue tonight
and yeah It's a fucked up voice but these
they are fucked up times so I
I suppose I'm right on time

(CH) Oh baby baby don't you wanna sin with me tonight
Oh baby baby it'll be alright

Kid when the metal clicked
the kick sent you back a bit
you weren't really ready for it that time
and the blood took a slow train down the side
of his broken mouth inside
your tummy turned around again

(Ch) Oh baby baby don't you wanna sin with me tonight
Oh baby baby it'll be alright

(Bridge) Alright

It shook when you held it down
the hand clamping to the ground
the nails were the only sound I swear

(CH) Oh baby baby don't you wanna sin with me tonight
Oh baby baby it'll be alight

Being a skilled musician with more than a bit of an edge, he quickly found his way into the kinds of bands that fueled his creativity.
After a while he grew bored and struck out on his own. alas the result.
